The Revenant
Plains biome boss — a relentless undead warlord that raises fallen foes to fight again.
The Revenant is an ancient warrior risen from the plains battlefields, bound together by dark energy and relentless spite. It leads a mob of undead and channels supernatural strength into devastating charges.
Abilities
- Raise the Dead: Marks summon tiles with Zombie Heads before spawning. Destroying a head prevents that zombie from emerging.
- Death Charge: A true straight-line charge from the Revenant’s center lane up to 3 tiles, ending adjacent before striking for ATK+2. Telegraphed 1 turn in advance.
- Gravefire Grid: Telegraphs a checker-grid of magma danger tiles for 1 turn, forcing controlled repositioning.
- Shield Bash: Knocks back an adjacent player 2 tiles for half ATK damage.
Phase 2 — “Undying Rage”
Triggers at ≤ 50% HP. Gains Regeneration (1 HP / turn). Raise the Dead triggers every 2 turns instead of 3. Death Charge damage increases to ATK+4 and leaves a fire trail behind the Revenant.
Strategy
Prioritize breaking Zombie Head markers when possible to deny summons before they spawn. Respect the center-lane charge telegraph and rotate early when Gravefire Grid appears so you are not forced into bad tiles.
